The Showtec NET-8/5 is a flexible Ethernet-to-DMX-converter that supports smooth control over professional lighting rigs set up at venues, theatres, clubs and events. Housed in a compact yet strong unit, the NET-8/5 features eight DMX ports that can be configured individually to serve as a DMX input or output.. What's more, this smart bit of kit supports Art-Net and sACN-protocols, making it compatible with a vast number of Ethernet-based light systems and matching software.

Easy to Set Up

Since it comes with both a user-friendly web interface as well as a built-in LCD display and physical controls, the NET-8/5 is amazingly simple to set up. From the DMX outputs and addresses to RDM (Remote Device Management) and the protocols you're using, everything can be easily configured as needed. This 8-channel Art-Net/Kling-Net node even supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), meaning you don't necessarily need any external power supply.
